When some machine tools are running, the ball screw will make abnormal noise, especially on some old machine tools. What is the reason?

Generally speaking, there are four reasons for the noise of the ball screw:

• 1. After long-term use, the surface of the ball peels off, which affects the running track of the ball, resulting in vibration and noise;

• 2. The fit is too loose, and there is a gap between the nut and the screw, resulting in gap vibration and noise;

• 3. After the ball screw is used for a long time, in order to ensure the operation effect, some worn balls will be replaced. In order to match a good preload and run smoothly, the replaced balls will generally be different in size from the original ones, so the noise will be reduced. Appeared;
